How we collect, use, and protect information on siemate.com and in the SIEMate platform.
Last updated: June 30, 2026
In short: SIEMate is deployed in customer-managed infrastructure. SIEM data does not pass through a SIEMate-operated cloud backend. If you configure an external AI provider, relevant prompts and context are sent to that provider. This policy also covers information submitted through siemate.com.
1. About SIEMate
SIEMate ("we", "us", "our") operates the website siemate.com and provides an AI-powered security operations platform. SIEMate is designed as a self-hosted solution: the platform software runs within the customer's infrastructure. We do not operate the product as a shared SIEM data service. Data sent from a deployment to a customer-selected service, including an AI provider, is governed by that customer's configuration and provider terms.
2. Information We Collect on This Website
Information you provide
When you contact us via email (e.g., admin@siemate.com), request a demo, or fill in a contact form, we collect:
- Your name, business email address, company, and job title
- Your phone number, if you choose to provide it
- How you heard about SIEMate and any additional information you submit
Automatically collected information
When you visit siemate.com, our hosting provider may automatically collect standard web server logs including your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. This data is used solely for infrastructure operation, abuse prevention, and aggregate analytics.
We do not use third-party advertising trackers, behavioural analytics platforms, or session-recording tools on this website.
3. What SIEMate Does NOT Collect
Through the SIEMate marketing website, we do not collect, process, or store:
- Security events, logs, or alerts from your SIEM
- Detection rules, queries, or investigation results
- Credentials or API tokens used to connect to your SIEM
- Employee or user data from your organisation
- Data stored inside your SIEMate deployment
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Respond to your enquiry or demo request
- Provide onboarding and customer support
- Send product updates or relevant communications (with your consent)
- Improve our website and documentation
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), our legal basis for processing your personal data is:
- Legitimate interests: responding to enquiries and improving our services
- Consent: for any marketing communications, which you may withdraw at any time
- Contract: to fulfil obligations under an enterprise agreement
6. Data Retention
We retain contact enquiries for up to 24 months. If you become a customer, we retain business correspondence for the duration of the relationship plus 3 years. You may request deletion at any time by emailing admin@siemate.com.
7. Cookies
The site does not intentionally set advertising or behavioural analytics cookies. Infrastructure providers may use technically necessary cookies or similar mechanisms for delivery, security, and abuse prevention.
8. Third-Party Services
Website submissions are handled by our hosting infrastructure and delivered through our configured email service. These providers may process request metadata and the information you submit only as needed to deliver and operate those services. Contact us if you need the current processor list before submitting personal information.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict our processing
- Request data portability
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at admin@siemate.com.
10. Security
